I’ve really done it this time, gang! Books penciled, inked and printed in under a week! Here’s page one of my new mini Babushka. recently I’ve been thinking a lot about wisdom imparted to me by my father - here’s a nugget that’s seemed particularly pertinent as of late.

Okay, gang! Year two of comics school has officially commenced and I’m already off and running on my thesis - after three consecutive Sundays of slacking off, here’s this week’s strip AND some bonus illustrations!
The first is of my ever lovely, lively and hilarious roommate, bestie and muse, Jen Vaughn. (As we were getting into the car this morning I informed her that “No doesn’t have the same meaning when you’re bending over and grabbing your ankles”…and then I drew it to further prove my point.)
On a completely different note, the second illustration is of my Bubbe - who I love very much and who has been in my thoughts lately. I’ve got her here with Sheriff Sunny Side Up, the only non-human I’ve ever seen my Bubbe take to.

After an 11 week excursion to my native Bay Area, I’m finally back in White River! I miss my family already, but I’m so glad to be back in the good company of my cartooning cohorts!
